Footprint Communications, the Alresford-based Marketing and Communications Agency, has been recognised for its outstanding work with clients.CIPR PRide Awards Wessex

They have won three major awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards Wessex 2008.

Building on their success in 2007, judges felt their work on client campaigns over this year was exemplary, and their unique way of working makes the agency a beacon to small consultancies across the South.

The agency struck Gold in the Community Relations category for their work in publicising the Alresford Watercress Festival, which recognised how their campaign helped to engage the community. Judges commented: "Footprint tackled this by mounting a concentrated local media campaign which stimulated investment at every level and reinvigorated the event for the people of Hampshire. Very well done."

Account Manager Yiannaki Loizou also won Gold, taking Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year. The award acknowledges the valuable contribution he makes to the industry, and for showing considerable promise as a future leader.

To complete the hat-trick, Footprint took silver in the Outstanding Small Consultancy category.

Commenting on the company's success, Managing Director Vanessa Gardner, said: "I'm immensely proud of what we have achieved in such a small space of time. Our success demonstrates that you can get big results from working with a small agency, and to be consistently recognised as one of the best agencies in the region is just fabulous."

The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 12th November at the Botleigh Grange Hotel near Southampton. Over 100 PR professionals turned out for the event, which celebrates the best of public relations practice in the Hampshire, Dorset and Isle Of Wight region.
