Leading Regional Food Brand

A not-for-profit organisation providing an outlet for food producers throughout Hampshire needed to revitalise their image. Consumers didn’t really know what they stood for, marketing collateral was dated and footfall at regional events was in decline.

Leading Regional Food BrandFootprint delivered a branding and positioning project to take the client into the next decade, equipping them for the future so they could ultimately increase their profitability and event numbers.

How?
· We carried out a branding and messaging review to carve out a unique position in the marketplace and to encourage consistency in future communications.

· Created a new logo to cement this unique identity and a new bespoke designed website - professionally copy-written, search engine optimised and complete with a content management system to allow the team to keep it absolutely up to date without ongoing cost.

· Devised a loyalty club to foster engagement and interaction with consumers who were then communicated to regularly via monthly e-shots.

· Provided media relations support – including the setting up of a regular slot on a local radio station to support the addition of a new event.

· Created an inaugural Awards event, designed to reward best practice

· Provided the in-house team with proactive and reactive support, and copywriting assistance.

Leading Regional Food BrandWithin 12 months, Footprint Communications successfully turned the organisation in to an instantly recognisable brand, set for the twenty-first century!

The website receives over 3,000 visits a month and e-shots have an excellent above average open and click-through rate. What’s more, the programme delivered four regular newsworthy activities which boosted editorial coverage significantly across the county.

The team now has all the marketing collateral and tools they need to manage the majority of their marketing with in-house part-time support.
